Our Story

York Press Limited is part of the Librairie du Liban, a major Arab World publisher founded in 1944 by Messrs Khalil and Georges Sayegh and by extension a member of the Sayegh group. The firm’s capabilities encompass both its extensive resources; and also draw on a successful enduring partnership with Pearson PLC – the world’s largest education company.
York Press has wide experience in creating books to international standards of authorship, editorial content and design. The key to such success is a high level of efficiency, coupled with speed and low overhead costs in the preparation of books and related products.
Headquartered in the UK in London, the firm’s operations benefit from a network of over 20 offices in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
York Press publishes school courses for ELT, maths and science relied on by numerous Ministries of Education, as well as a wide range of private sector courses, readers and online dictionaries and encyclopaedias.
